Today's class took place at Lorna's house. Today in class we discussed all the different types of soils. We worked on a worksheet that dealt with worms and math. I got my own worm bin. We learned that we will be taking a field trip on February 8th. Also we will be making a garden with corn, squash, and other different seeds. We got assigned homework. I have to draw and illustrate the Secret Sandy New England recipe. I also got assigned three through five Underneath it All slides on the Dig It website.

Today I watched lectures one and two which discussed Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. I worked on worksheets one and two after I got done watching the dvd. I also learned a new way to do multiplication. It is called the Lattice way.

Today, I worked on what are verbs? pages 11 through 17. I wrote a few stories with verbs in them. I now have a better understanding of verbs.
