Today I went to Lorna's house to attend the Farming lesson class. We went over our homework from last week. We talked about the geological time scale of Earth and we watch an interactive of how the continents were formed. We learned about rock formation in Liberty Township and how these are some of the oldest rocks in the world. We spoke about the last ice age and how it affected this area. We then went on a field trip to Jenny Jump State Park to look for evidence of the last ice age. We also went to the observatory to view the U shaped valley and Great Meadows, a former glacial lake. When we finished this field trip we went back to Lorna's and talked about the poster contest.
