Free Union Community CenterDirections From I80 Exit 12:Take Rt 519 S to Hope.
At the stop light make a left and then a right at the bottom of the
hill onto Rt 611 towards Great Meadows. Carry on past the "Land of
Make
Believe" and over the next hill. As you reach the bottom of the
hill,
take Marble Hill Road on the right. The community center is on the
right after about a mile) across the street from the Free Union
church. Directions from Hackettstown:Take 46W through Great Meadows. Make a right onto 611 towards Hope. After J.P. Kelly's tavern on the right, make the left on to Mountain Lake Road. After about a mile, look for the Quick Christmas Tree farm on the left. Marble Hill Road is the next right after about 200 yards. The community center is on the left across the street from the Free Union church. Directions from PhillipsburgTake Rt 22 east to Rt 57. After about a mile, make a left onto 519 North (Belvidere Road) and follow it all the way to Rt 46. Note that a little after the ugly power plant the road the road continues west, and that 519 is a right turn, not the straight-on! After that there is a blinker - keep going straight. at Rt 46, make a right (East.) The left turn onto Free Union Road is about half a mile after the junction with Rt 31. It's the first left after that Rt 31 intersection. An alternative from Phillipsburg is to stay on Rt 22 for a couple of miles after you cross the Delaware into NJ. 22E becomes route 57 -keep left - just the right hand lane gets split off. Follow Rt 57 North East to Washington and then make a left on Rt 31 (North) and stay on that through Oxford until you reach Rt 46. Then turn right (East) and follow Rt 46 for just about 0.5 miles and make the next left onto Free Union Road. Stay on Free Union Road all the way to the top (there is an ambiguous fork about half way up the hill - stay to the left.) At the top (Mountain Lake Road) turn left and then first right (Marble Hill Road). The community center is on the right after about a mile) across the street from the Free Union church. cemetery. Hackettstown Natural Resource Education Center From Rt. 46 Take RT 46 west to the center of Hackettstown. At the main traffic light, turn left onto Grand Avenue (landmark: Hackettstown Trading Post & Verizon stores). Go about 1 mile to Fifth Avenue, turn left. Go to the end of the road, and at the âTâ intersection, make a right into the hatchery grounds. Go through the second set of gates. The Education Center is the first building on your left. From Rt. 206 Northward Get on Rt. 80 and follow directions below. From Rt. 80 Take Route 80 West to exit 19 (Hackettstown/Allamuchy). At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Rt. 517. Stay on this road to the center of Hackettstown (Your first traffic light and intersection with Rt. 46). Cross Rt. 46 and go about 1 mile to Fifth Avenue, turn left. Go to the end of the road, and at the âTâ intersection, make a right into the hatchery grounds. Go through the second set of gates. The Education Center is the first building on your left. Pequest FishThe Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center is located between Great Meadows and Buttzville on Rt. 46 approximately 8 miles west of Hackettstown in scenic Warren County. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and admission is free.
From North Jersey: From Rt. 78: Take Exit #17 (Rt. 31): Take Rt. 31 North approximately 17 miles to its end at Rt. 46. Make a right onto Rt. 46 East. Hatchery entrance is approximately 2.5 miles.
